Youth Formation Specialist- Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church

Youth formation is a diocesan and parish planning priority and perhaps one of the most important. The Coordinator of Youth Formation administers and implements a total parish youth formation process that builds on a solid foundation to support Christian living, ministry, and outreach.

 YFS Characteristics:

×                 Personal call to Holiness: a living mode; l witness of mature missionary discipleship.

×                 Love for youth: has the potential to journey with young people in the basics of life and spirituality.

×                 Enthusiastic about evangelizing: ability to integrate systematic key learning into the vision of youth formation.

×                 Forward thinker: embodies leadership skills necessary to pioneer change, cast vision, build “buy in” and recruit people.

 Responsibilities include:

×                 Accompany and develop key volunteer leaders for all aspects of Youth Formation

×                 Collaborate and operate as a team with pastoral staff, mentors & volunteers

×                 Implementation of the Youth Formation Process including catechesis & evangelization for grades 1 through 12

×                 Evaluate and continuously improve of the Youth Formation Process

 Experience preferred.

Full-Time - Benefit eligible
