Entry-Level Dispatcher / Call Center with PAID Training

Butler Medical Transport is offering a unique opportunity to learn the skills necessary to begin an entry-level Customer Service Agent position in our Communications Center.  

Butler Medical Transport receives approximately 250,000 phone calls annually and coordinates hundreds of patients transports a day.  The Customer Service Agent provides exceptional customer service both internally & externally and supports Butler's customers by arranging and scheduling ambulance transports by ensuring that accurate and necessary information is obtained and entered into the dispatching system to ensure excellent patient care and customer service.  The agent must be able to commit to a position with a schedule that staffs shifts in a 24 hour per day / seven day per week call center that is open every day of the year.  

Candidates considered for this position will need to attend and successfully complete one week of training Monday - Friday beginning in late September for one week.  Applicants chosen that complete the course successfully will be offered a full-time position in Butler's call center.  Those that do not successfully complete the program will not be paid and will not receive any offer of further employment.


  • Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug screen
  • 1-2 year call center experience
  • Able to effectively communicate and interpret basic information necessary to maintain customer service levels
  • Able to sit for long periods of time and answer the requisite number of calls per hour
