Procurement Lead - Commercial and Residential HVAC and Plumbing

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in HVAC and plumbing to oversee purchasing for both our commercial installation projects and residential service operations. This role is critical to ensuring we maintain strong vendor relationships, manage costs effectively, and keep our teams supplied with the right equipment, parts, and materials at the right time. The role will be best performed in-office, from either our Van Wert, OH or Cleveland, OH offices. 

What You'll Do:

• Manage all aspects of procurement for HVAC and plumbing equipment, fixtures, and supplies.
• Oversee purchasing for both commercial installs (long-lead project planning) and residential service (quick-turn needs).
• Negotiate vendor contracts, secure rebates, and develop long-term supplier partnerships.
• Source and purchase parts, consumables, and operational needs such as tools, uniforms, and fleet supplies.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders, inventory tracking, and vendor records.
• Monitor pricing trends, lead times, and availability to minimize costs and delays.
• Coordinate with field teams, project managers, and service dispatch to ensure materials arrive on schedule.
• Support budgeting and cost-control efforts through smart procurement practices

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of procurement or supply chain experience, with a focus in HVAC and plumbing required.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment.
• Proven track record of vendor negotiation and cost management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day purchasing needs.
