Ayutherapy is one of the Bay Area’s leading Ayurvedic wellness centers. We offer highly personalized, authentic Ayurvedic body therapies and have served thousands of clients over the past 12 years. As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for a skilled, warm, and professional massage therapist to join our team.

This is a great role for a therapist who enjoys healing work, steady clients, premium service standards, and supportive training in Ayurvedic modalities.

💰 Compensation

$30–$40 per hour + Tips

• Starting rate based on experience, skill level, and certifications

• Higher rates for therapists with specialized experience or Ayurvedic background

• Tips are frequent and generous due to our premium clientele

🗓 Schedule

• 20–30 hours per week

• Primarily Tuesday–Saturday

• Consistent hours & bookings

• Opportunity to increase hours with performance and demand

🌿 About the Role

You will provide high-quality therapeutic massages and Ayurvedic wellness services in a calm, supportive, and well-organized environment. We offer paid training for all of our Ayurvedic treatments, so prior Ayurvedic experience is not required — just a willingness to learn.

✨ What You’ll Do

• Provide exceptional massage therapy sessions (60–90 minutes)

• Offer Ayurvedic services such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Shiro Abhyanga, Pad Abhyanga, Marma therapy, etc. (training provided)

• Maintain a warm, professional, and healing presence with clients

• Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and treatment room standards

• Document sessions and client notes as needed

• Collaborate with the Ayurvedic doctor and team for personalized client care

• Participate in periodic training and skill development

🎓 Required Qualifications

• Valid California Massage Therapist Certification (CAMTC)

• At least 1 year of hands-on massage experience (more is a bonus)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Reliability, professionalism, and excellent work ethic

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Ability to commute to Danville, CA

🌼 Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

• Experience in Ayurvedic bodywork

• Spa or wellness center experience

• Interest in holistic or traditional healing systems
