Role Overview
The Project Manager – Business Development & Operations supports both the growth and delivery of Cobalt Management Services’ fiscal sponsorship and operational offerings. This role blends project management, client services, and business development support, ensuring that Cobalt’s full suite of services is executed consistently, compliantly, and at a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support business development by drafting proposals, scopes of work, and service agreements covering Cobalt’s fiscal sponsorship, compliance, grants management, financial administration, and operational services.
2. Manage CRM pipeline, including lead intake, opportunity tracking, reporting, and handoff to onboarding.
3. Serve as a coordination point for new client onboarding across compliance, finance, and operations, leading communications via all channels
4. Track client deliverables across services, including compliance filings, grant administration, contracts, insurance, and reporting.
5. Maintain project plans and timelines for internal and client-facing initiatives.
6. Support development and documentation of SOPs, templates, and scalable systems.
7. Coordinate cross-functionally with compliance, finance, communications, and leadership teams.
8. Support business development efforts by participating in sales calls, assisting the sales team with prospective leads, and providing follow-up coordination and materials.
Qualifications
• 2-5 years of experience in project management, operations, client services, or business development
• Experience working with CRM systems and operational tools
• Strong written communication skills, including drafting client-facing documents
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Important Details
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually
