Claims Assistant

Your Impact at PLATFORM

The successful candidate will be responsible for primary administration of claims activities, and for the supporting the claims advocacy team with a variety of tasks. We are looking for professionals who want to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a strong learning culture and a focus on overall development.

• Manage all aspects of claims administration efficiently and accurately
• Input and update claims information in the system promptly and correctly.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and other administrative tasks as required.
• Handle claims inquiries and provide necessary information to clients and team members
• Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings, appointments, and site visits for the claims team.
• Stay updated on best practices and industry standards in claims administration
• Work closely with the Claims Advocacy Team to identify areas for process improvement
• Assist in implementing changes to streamline claims processes and improve efficiency
• Prioritize tasks effectively to manage workload and meet deadlines

Education, Experience & Qualifications

• RIBO Level 1 License or working towards
• Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
• Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
