The company is the largest scrap metal recycling in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 80 years, primarily in Halifax. John Ross & Sons Ltd. Specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, along with accepting all sorts of recyclables to process.
We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded Class 1 driver to join our team based in Halifax.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Help to transport scrap products across the Maritimes
Ensuring safety and security of cargo
Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
Properly record hours and mileage in logbook
Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid Class 1 License is mandatory
Clean Drivers Abstract is mandatory
Minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada is mandatory
Safety driven mindset
Clear communication skills
Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
