Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Employee Wellness Specialist, you will:
💙 Serve as a confidential support resource for team members experiencing stress, burnout, or personal challenges through individual one-on-one sessions.
🧭 Design and steward a high-quality team member journey by shaping meaningful touchpoints, including regular check-ins, to ensure consistency, care, and impact.
🧠 Support the development and implementation of wellness initiatives, including mindfulness practices, resilience training, and staff debriefings following trauma or loss.
🤝 Foster connection across the organization by supporting engagement surveys, recognition programs, and meaningful follow-through on community-wide action plans.
🎉 Create moments that matter by planning and delivering signature experiences—such as milestone celebrations—that reinforce appreciation, accountability, and shared success.
📊 Maintain accurate records of wellness initiatives and provide feedback to leadership on emerging trends, needs, and opportunities for support.
🔗 Refer team members to internal or external resources when specialized or higher-level support is needed.
⛪ Collaborate with the Spiritual Care Team to integrate wellness into daily practice and organizational culture.
🌱 Bring our culture to life by embedding organizational values into everyday interactions, leadership behaviors, and the full team member experience.
📈 Drive engagement through the implementation and support of Activated Insights programs.
👥 Perform other duties as assigned.
✅ Master’s degree with LCSW licensure required
✅ Experience in counseling, social work, wellness, or spiritual care
✅ Training in mindfulness, stress management, or related wellness practices
✅ Experience working in a senior care or geriatric environment
✅ Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
✅ A genuine passion for supporting team member well-being and organizational culture
