Bartender Supervisor - Avista

Job description: The Bartender Supervisor will be responsible to oversee all the bar functions under the direction of the Food & Beverage Manager and training of its staff.  Bartender Supervisor will take orders, make drinks, and take payments. The Bartender Supervisor will be able to keep busy during non-peak hours by cleaning and organizing. Providing time effective and friendly service is a must.

Job responsibilities:

·         Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs

·         Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards

·         Validate proper identification for all guest being served alcohol

·         Maintain required records of payments and tips

·         Maintain a clean/sanitized environment at all times

Requirements:

·         Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some holidays

·         Must provide friendly and respectful customer service

·         Must be proficient in multitasking

·         Previous experience necessary

·         Must be 21 or older

·         In accordance with state law, all employees involved in the sale or service of alcoholic beverages must obtain and maintain current TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedure) certification.
