Social Media Manager
Are you looking to make a big impact for a rapidly growing company? eCampus.com is seeking a
Social Media Manager to elevate the company’s brands through effective strategy and execution of
engaging content across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn,
YouTube, and more. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self starter who can effectively plan,
develop, and execute comprehensive social media strategies while also leveraging reporting to drive
future activities. In this role, you will be responsible for content generation for both paid and organic,
managing budgets, ad placement, and reporting. This temporarily remote position reports to the
Senior Marketing Manager and serves as a vital member of the eCampus.com marketing team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
â— Develop and execute overarching social media strategy to align with company goals
â— Generate scroll-stopping original content for multiple brands that engages targeted audiences
â— Create, manage, and maintain new social campaigns, promotions, and contests
â— Build a comprehensive content calendar that aligns all social platforms
â— Engage in daily social media monitoring, connecting, and responding
â— Utilize social media management tools such as Sprout for scheduling
â— Ensure content is optimized across all channels to grow the brand and fuel revenue
â— Research and connect with relevant content sources for cross-promotion
â— Stay current with platform requirements and algorithms to ensure maximum exposure
â— Collaborate with marketing team on additional content development outside of social
â— Apply a working knowledge of SEO principles to all content creation
â— Elevate use of video content through original content creation
â— Assist in the execution and content contribution of the company blog
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
◠Bachelor’s degree in marketing or relevant field
â— 2-3 years experience as a Social Media Manager
â— Thrives in a fast-paced environment
â— Superior copywriter with proven ability to generate creative content
â— Comprehensive knowledge of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube
â— Working knowledge of SEO
â— Strong organization skills and ability to balance multiple projects with tight deadlines
â— Works well in an environment that promotes autonomy and independent thinking
â— Quick learner with a desire to go above and beyond
â— Passion for social media marketing
