Senior Human Resources Business Partner
Are you a strategic HR professional passionate about shaping culture, scaling teams, and driving organizational impact? Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our growing People Team!
In this role, you’ll partner closely with leaders and talent across select key functions within the organization as we focus on scaling — and everything that comes along with it. Driving impact for our clients and customers is critical to our mission, but equally important is the environment and culture in which our teams operate to achieve those outcomes. The Sr. HRBP team plays a key role in helping our organization achieve the extraordinary, and the ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and mid-strategic levels.
We are seeking someone who has experience scaling teams in a fast-paced, multi-unit environment while supporting each step of the employee lifecycle. This position requires establishing yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable business partner to your teams and locations—being proactive, curious, and solutions-minded, and acting as an owner in everything you do. It requires a willingness to roll up your sleeves and help make us even better as we enter our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic thought partnership and coaching to our leaders in building and scaling high-performing, ambitious teams with business outcomes in mind.
- Coach and advise at all levels of the organization on a variety of areas, including change management, performance management, team dynamics, organizational design, rewards and recognition, and employee relations.
- Build strong relationships while modeling and inspiring a culture of accountability, resilience, constructive collaboration, and high-quality execution.
- Identify and drive organization-wide opportunities and initiatives that create meaningful value and scalable impact.
- Collaborate, broker, implement, and execute with the broader HR Operations team to roll out key people programs and processes—including shared services, performance and compensation reviews, Total Rewards, and Learning & Development programs.
- Leverage data to identify trends, guide decisions, and influence effective solutions.
What You'll Need:
- BA/BS degree preferred and/or 11+ years of HR business experience, ideally with at least 4+ years as a mid-strategic HR business partner in a scaling environment.
- Broad experience across HR disciplines such as employee relations, organizational design, performance management, and talent development.
- Experience supporting organizations with multi-unit locations.
- Comfort navigating complex situations and operating in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment, with the ability to identify root issues and influence/coach leaders and employees.
- A high level of curiosity and strong business acumen to proactively connect the dots and make sound, well-informed decisions.
