Are you a natural performer that enjoys sharing information with others? Are you a born storyteller that is often the center of attention? We have an exciting opportunity for a sociable Tour Guide to lead 4–6 tours daily with enthusiasm, energy, and excitement!

From ensuring guests have the proper equipment to following set safety guidelines, you'll lead guests on multiple tours throughout the day. Enjoy a collaborative team, dynamic hands-on tour role, and a chance to create an exciting, once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests young and old.

JOB DUTIES

  • Greet and welcome guests.

  • Explain safety policies and procedures.  

  • Demonstrate a quick paddling tutorial.

  • Ensure guests have appropriate equipment. 

  • Lead 4+ tours daily with consistent enthusiasm and energy 
  • Assist guests on a variety of topics, including concerns, comfort, and equipment issues. 

  • Prepare tour materials.

  • Stay current on company developments and relevant area news to bolster guest's tour experience.  

  • Follow all established safety guidelines and ensure guests remain within designated areas. 

  • Record and report any unusual incidents or violations of safety guidelines.

  • Maintain and sanitize equipment after every use.

  • Stay on schedule/time during tours and adjust as necessary. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • MUST be 16+ yrs. of age; trainees can be 15+
  • Available to work on weekends and maintain a flexible schedule (nights, holidays)
  • Relevant experience preferred.

  • Certified CPR/First Aid training
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • A dynamic, can-do personality 
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism. 

  • Punctual team player with an ability to improvise and be charismatic.
