July Business Services (JULY) is seeking a person to join
our sales team in our West Coast Region.
This is an opportunity to join a growing firm with expanding sales
channels, strong core values, and an entrepreneurial spirit. The person in this role will report to an
experienced Regional Sales Director (RSD) to prospect for new advisor
relationships and grow sales in their region.
They will learn the duties of an RSD and have the opportunity to promote
to an RSD while building relationships in their future territory.
Support your RSD in meeting the regional sales
goal of $250K to $350K (70 to 100 new plans).
Meet a smaller, individual sales goal of $50K to
$70K (10 to 20 new plans) by proactively developing advisor relationships in
your assigned part of the region.
Communicate with advisors to understand needs
and create solutions.
Build proposals and plan illustrations for
Lead advisors and prospective clients through
the post-sales setup paperwork process.
Travel in your own part of the territory on a
periodic basis (2-4 days per month).
Respond to a wide variety of inquiries,
including plan design, industry trends, and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Communicate JULY’s business model, value
propositions, products, processes, and fees.
Interact with JULY operations team members to
promote process improvement.
Experience / Credentials
Ideal candidate has experience as a Client
Service Manager or working as an Inside Sales Representative for a TPA or
Knowledge of retirement plan services, including
plan design and investments.
QPFC, QKA or equivalent designation a plus or
willingness to attain within 18 months.
3 or more years in retirement plan
administration, service, or inside sales.
Experience working with open-architecture retirement
platforms a plus.
Experience working with fee-based RIAs and retirement
