Deposit Specialist II

Position Summary

Preforms a variety of tasks to support the back-office deposit operations function of the bank.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  1. Completing account maintenance request.
  2. Verify accuracy on new deposit accounts-documentation and system
  3. Handles daily Unposted Item Repair (UIR), and Posted Exception Processing (PEP) for DDA, SAV, Safe Box, CD, and IRA processing.
  4. Prepare Interest/RMD checks for mailing.
  5. Reconcile various internal and general ledger accounts on a daily and monthly basis.
  6. Handles Reg D violation notifications
  7. Preparing Foreign Cash Letters.
  8. Maintenance change of address and phone number request.
  9. Scanning Deposit Account Documentation
  10. Research complex problems assisting branches.
  11. Works on various types of projects when needed.
  12. Adheres to the BSA Policy and all other Bank Policies.
  13. Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by supervisor


Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle fast paced environment, with good judgment and exercise discretion.
  • At least 1 year experience in Teller/ CSR background preferred.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
