Restaurant Manager
The Restaurant Manager at Lynora's is a seasoned professional dedicated to their craft and guided by a strong moral compass aligned with the company's core values. As the Manager, you are the Captain of the ship, navigating your crew through countless obstacles. It is your duty to encourage and lift up those who need a boost, as well as reprimand and correct those who stray. You must constantly uphold the morals and guidelines of company policy and make choices and judgement calls based on the betterment of Lynora's and enjoyment of our guests. You will be judged and rewarded based upon your daily decisions as they will have a significant impact on the profitability of the business. Your success will be directly related to your ability to effectively lead by example, inspire and coach your team and develop those within the ranks.
Expectations And Job Duties Will Include But Not Be Limited To The Following:
- Oversee all FOH and BOH operations.
- Accountable for all monetary procedures in the restaurant.
- Oversee scheduling for entire team adhering to labor goals set by Lynora's senior management team.
- Hire, fire and recruit team members.
- Schedule and run weekly manager meetings with all department managers.
- Report weekly food, beverage and labor costs to Senior Management and make necessary adjustments to improve profitability.
- Hold team accountable to all P&L goals.
- Maintain a well organized and clean establishment at all times in line with health code, state and federal guidelines.
- Manage a maintenance schedule for all equipment and building with approved vendors.
- Oversee all ordering of products from food, alcohol, paper products, office supplies, etc...
- Maintain a strong line of communication with Senior Management. Report all necessary communication to management team and staff.
- Oversee all catering and private functions for your location.
- Ensure all guest enjoyment is at the highest possible level.
- Execute"by the book" training procedures for all employees using provided training materials.
- Ensure kitchen standards are upheld and food quality is always 100%.
- Work with chefs to ensure all BOH procedures exceed health department regulations.
- Hold quarterly team meetings with FOH and BOH employees to maintain high morale and communicate company goals, standards and updates.
- Adhere to all human resource guidelines and enforce standards with team.
- Abide by and enforce rules and regulations set forth in the company handbook.
- Submit daily reports to Senior Management and team members.
- Teach, coach and mentor other members of your team. Delegate duties in the restaurant to the team and hold them accountable.
- Complete work with computer programs such as Excel and Word. Perform some POS programming.
- Maintain a valid Manager's Food Safety Certification.
- Arrive before scheduled time in appropriate uniform.
- Align all service standards with Lynora's requirements.
