ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

The Accounts Payable Clerk will look after verifying invoices are accurate and processed timely.
Responsibilities
- Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Receiving departments to resolve variances
- Obtain payment approvals for non-inventory invoices
- Enter all supplier invoices into the ERP software, reconciling as needed invoices posted to vendor statements
- Ensure payments are processed in a timely manner in accordance with supplier terms
- Work in compliance with laws and regulations, attend and complete all required health and safety training, report all accidents and safety hazards observed. Take every precaution reasonable to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience in accounts payable
- Knowledge and experience of general accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
- Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
