JOB DESCRIPTION - Room Attendant

Summary Objective

To perform a combination of tasks which maintains the hotel guest room in a clean and orderly manner, thereby contributing to a pleasant, positive experience 

Essential Functions

1. Provides professional and courteous service at all times.

2. Clean rooms upon request

3.Handle and complete all guests' requests immediately

4. Disinfect the entire bathroom including toilet, ensure the entire is free of hair

5. Collect soiled linens for laundering, maintain linen supplies in appropriate locations

6 Vacuum, mop, sweep guest room, floor and hallways

7. Maintain and keep an organized cart properly stocked and free of trash

8. Clean all stay over's, and checkout rooms in the allotted time for your property

9. Remove all trash and place in dumpster, stock cart for the next person, empty vacuum daily

10. Complete maintenance ticket for any item not working in room or including safety concerns. 

11.0 Insure the safety of our guest's property assets; never open door for guest who forgot their key(redirect them to front desk)

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities and reports to the housekeeping inspector and executive housekeeper

Work Environment

This job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment such as vacuum, mop, broom, cleaning chemicals and Ozone machine

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are a representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms and have ability to lift 20lbs.
