We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and qualified full-time Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic, online bookstore team in our Lexington, KY corporate office.
Key Responsibilities
â— Face of the Company
Account Managers are expected to build strong relationships with contacts, and act as a resource for the school by maintaining knowledge of our services/offerings and the current trends within the market.
â— Bookstore Management
Account Managers oversee the day-to-day operations of the online bookstore for our partner schools throughout the United States, providing them with the assistance, expertise, and the tools needed to maximize their sales potential. This includes overseeing the course material planning process for each school, inventory and order management, directing digital conversion projects, scheduling and conducting on-site textbook buyback events, monitoring customer service issues, and completing annual reviews with partner schools.
â— Liaison
You will act as a liaison between partner schools, the online bookstore department, and the rest of the company. You are expected to maintain positive working relationships throughout the company to collaborate, innovate, and problem solve in order to continue to grow and strengthen the services provided by our company.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
◠Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
â— Relevant account management, sales, marketing, customer service, or educational technology experience preferred
â— Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
â— Knowledge of current technology is a must; including Google Apps, iOS, Slack, and more
â— Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
â— Fulfill team support roles as required
â— Strong verbal and written communication skills
â— Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
â— Travel (local and overnight) up to 25%
