Host - West Location
Position Summary:
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating the first and last impression of the restaurant. This role manages reservations and walk-in flow, coordinates seating for hibachi tables to maximize efficiency and guest experience, and maintains accurate wait times in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and thank them as they depart

Manage the waitlist and reservations using the restaurant’s seating system

Strategically seat guests to ensure proper hibachi table pacing, balanced server sections, and optimal table turns

Communicate accurate wait times and keep guests informed of delays

Escort guests to tables and present menus when appropriate

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and lobby area

Answer phones, manage to-go order pickups, and handle basic guest inquiries

Coordinate with managers, servers, and chefs to support smooth service flow

Assist with light side work such as menu organization and restocking front-of-house supplies
