Engine Room Assistant/Oiler
Bay Ferries Limited is currently accepting resumes for a GP Oiler based out of Saint John, NB.
Bay Ferries Limited operates the Fundy Rose between Digby, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick. This is a year-around ferry service that employs approximately 150 people. The typical schedule is one week on, one week off.

Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Engine Room Rating certificate
- Valid Seafarers Medical Certificate and all other certificates required to maintain Certificate of Competency.
- Working knowledge of critical operations and Safety Management System documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven record of safe operations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in the passenger ship industry
- STCW 6.1 & STCW 6.2

Salary: $25.73/hour
Schedule:
- 12-hour shift
