We have opportunities for summer students to work with our Maintenance department this summer. This posting is an existing vacancy for the term of May 4, 2026 – August 21, 2026.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct site clean-up and repairs to dormitory building finishes and systems;
· Perform interior building maintenance, which includes cleaning, painting, furniture moving and replacing lights;
· Performs exterior building maintenance, which includes minor painting and cleaning windows;
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Hot temperatures;
· Lifting heavy loads,
· Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling;
QUALIFICATIONS
· Capability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, complete repetitive tasks and pay attention to details;
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
· Keep safety as a number one priority in all daily activities;
· Good communication and interpersonal skills;
· Experience using simple power tools would be an asset;

RATE OF PAY: $21.00 per hour
