Lighthouse Rooftop, a premier fine dining establishment in Long Island City, NY, is seeking an experienced Host to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar high-volume, fine dining environment.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient service to all guests, making eye contact, smiling, and maintaining proper posture at all times.

- Anticipate and fulfill guest requests proactively, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

- Assist in leading the reception team under the guidance of the Reception Manager, setting a positive and professional example.

- Coordinate the flow of the dining room, ensuring efficient seating and communication with other managers regarding table turnover and reservations.

- Collaborate effectively with the restaurant team, fostering a positive working environment and ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

- Handle guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally, seeking resolutions to maintain guest satisfaction.

- Adhere to proper timekeeping and uniform policies.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a host in a high-volume, fine dining establishment.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Professional demeanor and appearance.
