Meadowbrook Manor of LaGrange, an LTC, is actively looking for Registered Nurses. This position will interact with residents, family members and responsible parties and interdisciplinary team.

Meadowbrook Manor provides comprehensive medical services to guide each resident and family member through the recovery process even for complex medical conditions. Among the services we provide are:

• 24 Hour Skilled Nursing Care
• In-house Rehabilitation Services (Physical, Occupational & Speech Therapies)
• In-house Dialysis Suite
• Wound Care
• IV Therapy (if applicable) 
• Psychosocial Programs

Day to Day duties:

Responsibilities of the RN's include the nursing process: to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

• Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by the state board of nursing, state nurse practice act and other governing agency regulations
• Resolves patient problems through multidisciplinary team strategies
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Documents patient care services
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping the information confidential
• Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals
• Teaching patient, their friends and family to understand condition, medications and self-care skills; answering questions
• Additional duties as assigned
