Field Service Meter & Test Technician

Job Description:  

Work will be done in the field dealing direct with customers in the San Joaquin Valley and in our Porterville facility.  Accuracy test and calibrate flow meters in our NSIT traceable flow lab and in the field.  Prepare & maintain calibration reports and documentation on each meter.  Build, troubleshoot and repair all types of flow meters.  Basic knowledge of flow meters and the assembly & testing process is a plus.  Skills & Competencies:

Excellent math skills required

Ability to read and understand repair & parts manuals

Familiar with and understand wiring schematics

Electronics experience is helpful

Will work independently and on a team

Mechanical & technical aptitude is necessary

Quality and detail oriented individual is a must

Minimum 1 year working experience, preferably in manufacturing & field service

High School Diploma or GED: Associates Degree preferred

Requires valid California driver’s license & to be insurable at standard rates

Able to work 8+ hours a days and some Saturdays

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Forklift certification is a plus
