Bridge Worker

Dawson Road Maintenance is looking for a Bridge Worker to assist with building and repairing a variety of bridges. 

In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson Road Maintenance, working in a permanent full-time position of Bridge Worker, reporting to the Bridge Foreman. Your base location will be Smithers, B.C. and will require some travel throughout our great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

• Must prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job

• Installation, repair and maintenance of wooden, steel and concrete structures, deck resurfacing, operating road and bridge maintenance equipment.

• Assist in conducting detailed bridge inspections

WHAT YOU BRING

• Trade Journeyperson, preferred trades are Bridge workers, Iron workers, and welders

• Minimum two (2) years of bridge work experience

• Minimum two (2) years of road maintenance and/or construction experience

• Skilled with hand tools

• Valid Class 5 Drivers License minimum

• Air brakes and Crane Certification an asset
