COBRA Administrative Support

Position Summary:

This position provides daily COBRA administrative support to the NetCOBRA department and performs the duties of COBRA Support.

Essential Functions:

  • Answer incoming COBRA-related calls and emails daily
  • Open all incoming mail and log mail into a spreadsheet each day mail is picked up
  • Processes all incoming COBRA mail - this process includes scanning all payments, enrollment forms, and any other documents pertaining to COBRA, as well as uploading each scanned document to the appropriate COBRA enrollee’s record
  • Work with carriers to verify COBRA enrollments and terminations
  • Accurately key in all COBRA payment information into the Netchex and Web COBRA systems
  • Build WebCOBRA packets in the WebCOBRA system
  • Assist the NetCOBRA department to ensure that COBRA voicemails and emails are entered into SalesForce cases daily
  • Keep abreast of the most current COBRA laws
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with carriers, COBRA enrollees, and coworkers to promote a quality service image
  • Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

  • 1-2 years administrative experience

  • Microsoft Proficient
  • Basic knowledge of COBRA is preferred, but not required
