LPN Substance Abuse Treatment Part-time 6 AM to Noon - Dayton

We are Dayton Treatment Services, a new Outpatient Medication Assisted/Opioid Treatment Center that just  opened at 7301 Poe Avenue.   We are a part of Pinnacle Treatment Centers. We are currently seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to work part-time a  few days during the week.Hours are  6am to 12pm, Monday-Friday, 6am-9am Saturday.

Founded in 2006, the Company has grown into an organization that operates over 30 substance abuse treatment facilities in five states (Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia) with additional sites under development in Ohio, Indiana, and Minnesota.
Pinnacle treats over 10,000 people daily and provides a full continuum of care, including detoxification, residential, outpatient, and transitional living programs. Treatment includes treating the individual’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and psychological selves. Pinnacle is CARF accredited and all locations include physicians, nurses, clinicians, administrative, and support staff.

Function:
To administer and coordinate medical services necessary for all clients within the Facility; assist and be responsible for clients during appointments. To promote Performance Improvement and service delivery that is aligned with the agency’s primary mission...
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments necessary for psychological testing, doctor’s appointments, dental, and eye doctor appointments. Maintain and keep updated all medical records and documentation pertaining to the clients.
Assist as needed in the transportation of clients to necessary appointments.
Maintain contact with community medical personnel.
Responsible for medical charts for non-prescribed and prescription medication.
Shall assist in the development and revision of policies and procedures for medication compliance.
Provide training for staff development specific to health care needs i.e. CPR, First Aid, Blood Pressure, etc. Assist DON in purchasing of medical supplies.
Monitor all detoxification clients and initiate the appropriate medical response to detoxification symptoms. Other duties as assigned by DON.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ohio
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and One (1) or more year’s clinical experience in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health preferred.
Proof of Completion of a course in medication administration approved by the Ohio Board of Nursing
Able to work early morning hours
