Purpose of the Position:
Reporting to the Director, People & Culture, the Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top talent, ensuring a smooth candidate experience from application to hire.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, orientation and onboarding candidates
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop job postings
• Manage job advertisements, schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and provide feedback to hiring managers
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and manage recruitment and new hire documentation
• Provide an exceptional candidate experience, ensuring timely follow-ups and clear communication
• Other duties as required
Qualifications and Experience:
• Relevant postsecondary in HR Management, Business Administration or related field
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is a plus
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, tact and professionalism
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments
• Excellent planning, organization and prioritizing skills
• Positive, friendly and helpful approach to work
• Solid knowledge of and practical experience with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
• Satisfactory current Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records Check
