Key Responsibilities
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on HVAC, boilers, refrigeration, electrical systems, and plumbing to avoid breakdowns.
  • Guest Service: Respond promptly to maintenance requests (e.g., lighting, TV, AC issues) in guest rooms and public areas, ensuring professional interaction with guests.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain safety systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and emergency lighting, ensuring compliance with local, state, and OSHA codes.
  • Facility Upkeep: Repair and maintain hotel interiors (painting, drywall, carpentry) and exteriors, including pool/spa, gym equipment, and landscaping.
  • Operations & Logistics: Monitor energy consumption, manage inventory of parts and supplies, and maintain accurate repair records.
  • Project Management: Assist with or oversee renovations, upgrades, and contractor work.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance or repairs, preferably in a hotel or commercial setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general carpentry.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communication: Strong English skills to read technical manuals, understand safety protocols, and interact with guests.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and holidays
