Solutions Consultant

Smartlinx is currently seeking a Solutions Consultant to support both the sales and customer success teams in the long-term care industry.  Smartlinx Solutions Consultants are consultative in their approach as well as product experts, partnering with the Sales team to ensure the best possible solution is presented to customers and prospects. Solution Consultants support both sales teams throughout the sales cycle, starting with a qualified opportunity and ending with the close.  A strong Solution Consultant engages in various pre-sales activities including discovery sessions, solution development, product demonstrations, business case and financial justifications, executive presentations and ensuring our solution meets all customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert with the Smartlinx solution
  • Participate and lead discovery meetings to understand the prospects of critical business issues
  • Deliver on-site and/or web-based presentations and communicate effectively at all levels within an organization
  • Engage with the product management team to provide customer feedback and overall product direction
  • Keep up with industry trends and competitive landscape


  • BA/BS or equivalent strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in workforce management, human capital management, human resources, or payroll experience preferred
  • Presales/solution consulting experience preferred
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; ability to tailor communication style to different levels within an organization including C-level
  • Knowledge of long-term care/assisted living facilities preferred
  • Up to 70% travel
