John Ross & Sons Ltd. Is a fifth generation, family owned, scrap metal recycler. The company is the largest scrap metal recycling in Atlantic Canada and has been in operation for over 80 years, primarily in Halifax. John Ross & Sons Ltd. Specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, along with accepting all sorts of recyclables to process.
We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded office administrator to join our team based in Truro.
Primary responsibilities and duties:
Document Processing
Data Entry
Cash Dispenser and Reconciliation
General Office Filing
Assist operations manager with administrative tasks
Be a central part of the team
Keeping work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
2-4 years experience in a busy administrative role
Able to multi task in a fast-past industrial environment with a positive and friendly manner
Experience with MS Office applications
Highly organized with an ability to prioritize a changing work load
Attention to detail is a must
Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable will be considered an asset
Candidates must pass a Criminal Record Check as a condition of employment
