Position Overview

The Corporate Benefits Assistant will perform a variety of benefits management processes for Regency's managed skilled nursing facilities and for the corporate office.

The Corporate Benefits Assistant will be cross-trained to do other tasks within the scope of their responsibilities as dictated by the Benefits Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee FMLA/LOA/ADA policies 
  • Process Medical Support Notices
  • Enter insurance enrollment forms
  • Audit dependent verification's
  • Backup for reconciling insurance bills and insurance premiums for payroll
  • Backup for auditing payroll hours and preparing insurance report for Cost Analysis team

Key attributes:

  • The candidate must possess superb communication and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task at a high level
  • Provide excellent customer Service to employees and facility level staff
  • Technical competencies to include proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • The ideal candidate must demonstrate a positive work ethic, must be a team player, and have a willingness to add knowledge and skills to the department
  • Experience in basic accounting principles

Education:

  • High school diploma is required
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred
