Job Title: Quality Analyst 

Department: Quality

Reports to: Quality Manager

Summary: This position is required to provide analysis of data for the purpose of informing and/or problem solving; review and recommend corrective and preventative actions for continuous improvement and elimination of defects.

Minimum Job Requirements:  

• High school diploma or GED but, Associates degree in related technical field or equivalent education highly preferred and /or experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. 

• Knowledge and experience working with automotive materials, part design, and material testing methods.

• Familiar with PPAP process and terminology; preferred

• Understanding of ISO and/or TS 16949

• Understanding of ISO 14001; or ability to learn.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Good time management, prioritization, organizational and planning skills.

• Ability to learn corrective and preventative actions.

• Must be willing to work in a team-oriented environment.

• Understanding of the Paramont production process from trim to ship. 

• Ability to communicate appropriately with other employees.

Conditions of Employment:

• Successful candidate must submit to poster offer, pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

• Adheres to the policies and procedures of the organization to include work rules and attendance guidelines.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

• Must meet physical requirements unique to this position; vision, lifting, ability to stand for duration of shift.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds or more.  

Essential Functions:

• Serve as a quality assurance representative to ensure production is meeting product requirement per the spec.

• Assists in preparing and providing data analysis of finished product and customer complaint issues.

• Track and document activity related to product approval using various computer software's.

• Conduct inspection activities when required.

• Monitor Customer Quality Scorecards.

• Coordinate, monitor and support any warranty activities

• Must be able to perform basic quality analysis functions.
