Basic Function:
The primary function of a dietary aide is to provide assistance as directed/instructed to all residents in accordance with established dietary policies. Responsible for assisting in the set-up, preparation, delivery and serving of appetizing meals on a timely basis in established portions. Responsible for cleaning all utensils, equipment, and dining areas; and for proper disposal of all food and garbage.
Customer Service:
Interact with our patients, residents, families, and other staff (customers) to provide enthusiastic, timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and/or needs related to care and service.
Policies and Procedures:
Responsible for assuring that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
