Sales Represenative Industrial Sales Team

Delkin Devices Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Sales Representative to  join our Industrial Sales Team in Poway, CA.

About the role:

Sales role responsible for driving revenue, profitability and business development opportunities with Delkin’s OEM engagements for industrial markets and applications.  The successful candidate will have a strong drive to engage customers, develop and execute a rapid account growth plan, and be a team player who can leverage expertise from across the organization to support customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Achievement of quarterly and annual revenue and profit goals
  • New customer and channel prospecting and development – expand customer base with new product qualifications and wins
  • Fostering exceptional customer and channel partner/distributor relationships and engagements
  • Maintaining an active CRM database to facilitate targeted and coordinated customer strategies and communications
  • Active participation on Industrial OEM Business Team including cross functional support and assistance
  • Maintain and leverage relationships across storage and electronics industry
  • Broad Regional territory and customer base – 25% travel required
  • Input on new product and service offerings and strategies

Our ideal candidate:

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (technical field preferred)
  • 2 years of sales experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Accomplished sales executive with 2 years of experience and a proven track record of growing revenue while developing and closing new customer channels
  • Electronics industry, storage industry and applications knowledge preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales and marketing proposals and plans
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Strong business judgment and analytical skills
  • A true passion for customer success and service
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be comfortable interacting across all levels of the organization
  • Have the ability and desire to work as a team member in a matrix organization as well as to work independently for maximum goal achievement
  • A sales leader with strong tactical and analytical abilities
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to be a team player as well as an individual contributor driving tangible results while maintaining a vision for growth
  • Highly motivated and results-driven

Working Conditions

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior office work environment
  • Work requires significant local travel and will require overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work
  • No or very limited physical effort required
  • Heavy computer usage
