Role Overview

The Inside Sales Representative is the first point of contact for potential clients, families, and referral partners. This role owns the intake-to-start-of-care pipeline by qualifying leads, guiding families through services, confirming eligibility, and driving each case forward with urgency and empathy.

This is not a passive call-center role. Success requires speed, precision, emotional intelligence, and disciplined follow-up in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured intake calls to collect client information, care needs, caregiver preference, and referral source

  • Verify insurance coverage and eligibility (Medicaid, Medicare, MCOs, commercial plans)

  • Clearly explain services and guide families through the home care process

  • Assess client fit based on coverage, care needs, and agency guidelines

  • Maintain consistent daily follow-up to move leads toward Start of Care

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls (100+ per day)

  • Accurately document all intake activity in Zoho CRM

  • Assign lead statuses and maintain clear, actionable follow-up notes

  • Coordinate closely with Service Coordinators, Admissions, Recruiting, and Coordination teams

  • Ensure all onboarding steps are completed prior to activation

  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and communicate case progress clearly

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in inside sales, intake, or healthcare/insurance-related roles

  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, MCOs, and home care authorizations strongly preferred

  • Strong phone presence with the ability to close conversations professionally and compassionately

  • CRM experience (Zoho preferred)

  • High persistence, objection-handling skills, and comfort working in a performance-driven environment

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
