A well-established hotel ownership group is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations at a select service property located in the Midwest. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a reputable branded hotel with strong ownership support and autonomy to lead day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage (as applicable)
- Drive financial performance by achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction through service excellence and brand compliance.
- Hire, train, and manage department heads and team members.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and operational efficiency.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and property condition.
- Foster a positive team culture that aligns with ownership values and brand expectations.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred.
- Previous General Manager experience is preferred.
- 2-5 years as Assistant General Manager or other hotel management role required.
- Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this management position will vary.
