Are you a dynamic and results-driven hospitality professional ready to lead a high-performing team? A well-established hotel ownership group is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations at a select service property located in the Midwest. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a reputable branded hotel with strong ownership support and autonomy to lead day-to-day operations.


Responsibilities 

  • Lead all aspects of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage (as applicable)
  • Drive financial performance by achieving revenue and profitability targets.
  • Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction through service excellence and brand compliance.
  • Hire, train, and manage department heads and team members.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and property condition.
  • Foster a positive team culture that aligns with ownership values and brand expectations.

Qualifications 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business preferred.
  • Previous General Manager experience is preferred.
  • 2-5 years as Assistant General Manager or other hotel management role required. 
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this management position will vary.
