Data Management & Assessment Specialist for Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

The Data Management and Assessment Specialist works directly with the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program Director to address the administrative and assessment reporting processes of the program.  This position oversees data collection and entry into various information gathering platforms needed for ongoing DPT Program assessment and statistical reporting for the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) and the State Board of Physical Therapy. On a cyclical basis, the position will also provide assistance to the Director of Clinical Education in the organization and interpretation of clinical education data into reports that will be used to support decision-making regarding clinical education site placements and post-clinical experience assessment.  Additionally, this position is responsible for overseeing DPT scholarship opportunities, managing communication and assisting to build our DPT alumni network, marketing and program website updating, and assisting the Program Director with external stakeholder matters.

Qualifications:

·         BA/BS degree preferred

·         At least 5 years higher level administrative experience

·         Ability to use tact and diplomacy in interpersonal relationships

·         Excellent communication skills both orally and in writing

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality

·         Ability to respond to stakeholder questions regarding assessment issues and reports

·         Ability to complete work independently, accurately and reliably

·         Demonstratable understanding and acceptance of the mission, values, goals, and objectives of DeSales University and the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program
