PBX Operator

Job description – The PBX operator will be responsible for efficiently communicating within and to the resort while maintaining attentive and courteous customer service. You will ensure to answer phone calls and redirect them to the appropriate departments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -

  • Operate two-way radio to relay incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls and messages
  • Dispatch maintenance and housekeeping staff to guest rooms as needed
  • Maintain positive customer and associate relationship
  • Respond appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  • Handle guest issues to resolution in an effort to improve the guest experience and escalate any outstanding guest inquiry
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, loss prevention, and resort operating procedures.
  • Block guest rooms and process guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible.
  • Submit housekeeping and maintenance work order request forms
  • Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of heavy volume in other front office areas.
  • Calls include maintenance, housekeeping, reservations, loss prevention, and more.

Requirements -

  • Available to work the afternoon shift or night shift including weekends and holidays
  • Experience with Nuvola or similar operations systems is preferred
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
  • Strong attention and care for details
  • Must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Strong written communication
