Lead Server / Shift Lead – Outdoor Food & Beverage (Summer Job)

Seasonal: May–September | Full-Time Summer Hours Available | $16 per hour + tips

About the Position

Fischer Platz operates with concession-style food and beverage service, meaning guests order at the counter and enjoy their food, drinks, and entertainment throughout the biergarten.

The Lead Server (Fischer Platz Lead) is a working lead role that assists with preparing and serving food and beverages while helping guide the team during busy shifts. This role helps keep service organized, supports team members throughout the shift, and assists during live music or guest activities.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys guest interaction, teamwork, and gaining hands-on leadership experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Students interested in hospitality, tourism, event management, or business may also find this role valuable, and internship requirements can be accommodated if desired.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving light menu items and beverages
• Work alongside the Fischer Platz team during busy service periods
• Help maintain a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere for guests and team members
• Support or help facilitate guest activities taking place in Fischer Platz (karaoke, trivia, fundraisers, etc.)
• Assist with daily and seasonal setup, organization, and closing of Fischer Platz

• Follow food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards

Schedule & Availability

Full-time hours are available throughout the summer season (May–September).

Shifts typically occur during afternoons, evenings, and weekends when guest traffic is highest.

Example shifts may include:

• 10am–4pm
• 12pm–9pm
• 3pm–Close (closing team usually leaves between 10pm–midnight)
