About the Coordinator, Resident Services role: 

Community management staff and the Resident Services Coordinator play an integral role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of the community. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Plan and implement activities for after school programs in partnership with the local schools and other community partners

·         Plan and implement an array of resident events that are different and unique to Atlantic Housing Foundation goals, mission, and core values

·         Market events and social service endeavors to residents and the community using social media, website and developed partnerships

·         Build strong relationships with current and future members of the community in order to increase resident participation and involvement

·         Maintain positive relationships with fellow residents to ensure that communication between residents and community representatives is open and effective

·         Create positive ongoing relationships with outside vendors, partners, and organizations

·         Maintain calendar and schedule of events and be present to monitor and facilitate events

·         Increase active engagement on the property with Atlantic Housing staff and residents

·         Create a community atmosphere at the center and around the property

·         Survey community with regards to needs and analyze data to provide opportunities for residents in regards to their educational and personal goals

·         Provide feedback to the Director of Community Services in the form of social media reports, monthly Resident Coordinator reports, and data reporting

·         Be on-time with all deliverables, providing excellence in product and always reaching for the gold standard of resident service provision

Minimum Requirements

·         Must be a resident of the property for which you are serving for the duration of services

·         Must have experience in event planning, scheduling, social media and partnership outreach and coordination of programs

·         Must be able to complete a satisfactory background check

 

Education and Experience:

·         Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and helpful attitude

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strong organizational, time management and project management skills

·         Creative

·         Leadership skills

·         Open-minded and able to consider multiple perspectives

·         Adaptable and flexible to new situations and people

·         Experience and interest in planning fun activities and events for residents

·         Knowledgeable about the community and local city and local resources

·         Ability to solve practical problems

·         Ability to work with residents in an empathetic, professional manner

·         Strong customer service skills and the ability to relate easily to residents, vendors and apartment staff

·         Maintain composure and handle crisis or emergency situations

·         Team player

·         Patient, even-tempered and works well under pressure

·         Able to maintain confidentiality

·         Able to follow directions and receive feedback from supervisors

·         Ability to engage residents online and in person, constantly striving to improve resident services and participation

Bi-lingual (preferred, English/Spanish)
