Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Program Coordinator is the overall administration of the DDS Day program, ensuring program compliances with all DDS, and other applicable rules and regulations. This role oversees the daily work of assigned staff, as it relates to meeting the individual plans for each person being served at the campus. Responsibilities include accurate recording and processing of payroll and related documentation and developing meaningful opportunities for employment and other life enriching activities for the individuals being served by the agency. The Program Coordination also oversees the timely and accurate completion of all on-going case records of client’s needs, services, all corresponding documentation concerning the client’s status, time and attendance, behavioral data, monthly and quarterly reports. The Program Coordinator also develops strategies to teach, enhance employment and social skills of people served as well as other duties as assigned. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficient problem-solving capacities, an ability to lead team efforts, and the capacity to work with developmentally disabled adults in structured settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage program operations.

• Complete schedule and transportation assignments.

• Effectively communicate with residential supervisors, DDS case management, and parents/guardians.

• Schedule and attend mandatory DDS meetings in compliance with state/residential guidelines.

• Develop and maintain activities/employment for individuals serviced.

• Track, gather and prepare data necessary for individual reports.

• Facilitate the completion of all documentation related to individuals serviced.

• Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and filed in a timely manner.

• Ensure all staff are in-service on individual documentation proficiently.

• Track and document petty cash expenditures.

• Prepare individual payroll batches on a weekly basis.

• Work closely with program staff of employees from diverse social, economic, and cultural backgrounds.

• Facilitate teamwork and encourage innovative strategies to foster a productive work environment.

• Seek appropriate supervision and guidance when needed.

• Meet with Supervisor weekly.

• Attending meetings and events as directed.

• Ability to respond to crises and emergencies with a calm and reasoned response as necessary or directed by Supervisor or other member of the management team.

• Review program rules and policies as necessary.

• Ensure in-services are scheduled and completed in an efficient manner.

• Abide by all CPM Personnel Policies and Procedures.

• Ability to use basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor and necessitated by program needs.

• Work with staff to ensure the maintenance of offices, program materials and vehicles weekly.

• Facilitate the completion of all documentation related to individuals serviced each day.

• Respond to crisis and emergencies with a calm and reasoned response as necessary or directed by Supervisor or other member of the management team.

• Report all serious incidents to The Program Director.

Reporting Structure:

• Reports to the Director of Day Services

Qualifications:

• Education - bachelor’s degree in human services or related field experience.

• Knowledge of DDS systems.

• Ability to interact with people with intellectual disabilities.

• Knowledge of basic computer technology and software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
