Research Associate - Cell Pharmacology

We are seeking an enthusiastic, scientifically motivated research associate to join the Cell Pharmacology team. The candidate will play a significant role in the development and implementation of in vitro cellular assays to identify and evaluate our degraders to advance early drug discovery projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the fields of molecular and cellular biology and biochemistry. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong commitment to team success, ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. This position seeks individuals who are comfortable with a fast-paced environment and combine innovative/diverse approaches to assay development including lentiviral and CRISPR technologies.   • Perform tissue culture (maintaining a number of cell lines/cell types)
    • Lentiviral production and transduction for stable cell line generation
    • CRISPR generated knockout/knock-in cell lines
      • Staying up to date with emerging technologies to improve efficiencies
      • Provide expertise in this area to other colleagues to support internal/external programs
      • Design, optimize and execute a number of cellular assays (CTGlo viability, HiBiT, HTRF, NanoBRET)
      • Data analysis and interpretation to drive chemistry SAR to support drug discovery programs
        • Data sharing and communication to project teams
        • Work with project team leads or members from other functional areas to discuss data, next steps, and plan experiments to address key questions
        • Maintain laboratory records (ELN)


  • BS/MS with lab experience in biology, biochemistry, or other related disciplines
  • Experience with aseptic technique and mammalian cell culture preferred
  • Experience with Echo or acoustic liquid dispenser, Envision, Combi, WES, LI-COR, Neon/Amaxa electroporator, single cell sorter a plus
  • Self-motivated, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic
  • Attention to details, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills
