- Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Adult Intermediate Care level experience RN experience
- Candidate must commit to a minimum 2-year full-time service commitment in the Special Care Unit
- Candidate must be in good standing at the time of bonus payments
The RN manages the direct patient care of an identified patient or group of patients. The RN assumes the primary responsibility and accountability for the delivery of all patient care. The RN may delegate the responsibility to perform nursing tasks to individuals on the healthcare team (LPN, PCT, NA) who are competent to perform these acts or tasks. When delegating to an unlicensed individual, the RN retains accountability for the nursing tasks. An RN is assigned charge responsibilities on a rotating basis, on each shift. Communications and collaboration are required within and outside the work group to provide patient care and resolve mutual issues. Communication and collaboration with external contacts is for the provision of on-going service and handling of routine transactions, frequently detailed information. Responsible for ensuring that satisfaction and service to internal and external contacts are maintained.
Required to work every third weekend
Graduate of an approved RN program.
