Cooling Tower Mechanic

Our company, Chesapeake Systems is looking for a Junior Mechanic to join our team in the Hanover, MD area! If interested, please apply! 

Responsibilities:

-Must be able to demonstrate proper and basic power and hand tool knowledge and usage 

-Must be willing to learn from others around them in proper field techniques and skills

-Completion of jobs in a timely manner that satisfies the customer

-Willingness to learn this trade and the skills that come with it to be a valued employee 

-Will need to occasionally work out of town as well as overtime and weekends (scheduled in advanced) 

-Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in tight spaces, from heights and ladders 

-Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

-Be willing to work in different weather conditions: heat, cold, light rain, snow

-Must adhere to all company safety policies and wear proper PPE at all times

Qualifications:

-High School diploma or equivalent 

-OSHA 10 or 30 (Not required! But beneficial) 

-Willingness to travel about 10% to 25% of the time
