Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to grow our presence in the mining / manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for developing new business, managing key accounts, and delivering tailored solutions to mining clients, with a focus on manufactured mining components. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mining operations and industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within the mining industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mine operators, procurement teams, and key decision-makers
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and close
  • Develop strategic account plans to grow existing client relationships
  • Conduct site visits and present solutions aligned with client operational needs
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, and operations) to deliver customized component solutions
  • Promote and sell manufactured mining components such as wear parts, fabricated assemblies, and custom-engineered products
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to understand production capabilities, lead times, and cost structures
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate quoting and solution alignment
  • Coordinate with clients on product design modifications, material selection, and performance requirements
  • Support quoting and RFQ processes, ensuring accuracy in pricing, timelines, and scope
  • Monitor project execution to ensure components are delivered on time and meet quality standards
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions

Qualifications

  • 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within mining, manufacturing, or heavy industry
  • Strong understanding of mining operations and manufacturing processes
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Experience selling manufactured components or engineered products
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is an asset
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required

Preferred Skills

  • Experience selling to surface or underground mining operations
  • Knowledge of materials, wear components, or fabrication processes
  • Familiarity with CNC machining, welding, or industrial production environments
  • Established network within the mining or industrial sector
