Women's Recovery Support Worker, Sanctuary (Permanent, Full-Time; Temporary, Full-Time)

The Opportunity

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most? We're seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Women's Recovery Support Worker. In this role, you'll be a key part of our dedicated team, providing support and care for program participants on their journey towards recovery. Your responsibilities will include offering referrals, accompanying to appointments, advocating for material needs, organizing program activities, and addressing emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs. You'll also play a crucial role in supervising infants, providing mediation facilitation, and conducting searches and screenings. This position demands flexibility, as it involves shift work, including weekends, evenings, overnights, and statutory holidays. You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems.  There will be other staff nearby to assist as required. 

We are hiring for 2 permanent, full-time and 2 temporary, full-time positions with a rotating shift pattern of four-on and four-off. The first two shifts in the rotation are 7am-7pm, and the last two shifts are from 7pm-7am. The starting pay range for this position is $26.26 to $28.70 per hour.
