ELM is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join the Accounting team at our Peoria, Illinois corporate office. As FP&A Manager your primary focus will be to support the forecasting, reporting and analytic needs of our ELM Utility Services and LaunchPoint Software Systems operating units. ELM Utility Services currently operates in a multi-state environment with operations in 15 states and continues to expand its geographic footprint and customer reach. You will work across the company building cross-functional relationships and becoming a valued business partner to the Operations team and Executive Management. As part of a flat organizational hierarchy, you will interact with senior leaders frequently. Quality, organization, attention to detail, continuous improvement mentality, leadership skills, effective communication skills, excellent customer service and an analytic focus are critical. This role will help to support the continued growth of our company. Generally, office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm M-F. Starting wages for this position will be $100,000-$120,000 depending on experience.

Your specific duties in this role will include:
- Manage the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making across the organization.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives.
- Lead the monthly financial reporting process, including variance analysis and management reporting.
- Drive improvements in financial processes, systems and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and timeliness.
- Track financial progress of new customer start-up operations.
- Research market opportunities to support growth initiatives.
- Special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree majoring in Accounting or Finance; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5-7 years’ experience from Public Accounting and/or Corporate Accounting/Finance roles.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis and management reporting.
- Strong working knowledge of budget and forecast modeling, analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- An ability to develop solid working relationships remotely.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently, accurately and balance multiple conflicting priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience using AI tools a plus.
- Pricing analysis experience a plus.
- ERP implementation experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks a plus.
