About the Role
Reporting to the Guest Services Supervisor, the Guest Services Agent is the first point of contact for guests and is responsible for delivering a seamless, welcoming, and memorable experience from arrival to departure. The role manages front desk operations, guest folios, reservations, communication across departments, and various administrative tasks to ensure smooth resort operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, answering questions, handling concerns, and supporting all touchpoints of their stay.
· Manage front desk operations including check-ins/outs, folio management, moorage, payments, and daily reports.
· Communicate and coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Dock Shack, Guides, Fish Processing, Restaurant, Head Office).
· Operate POS and property management systems; maintain accurate cash floats and complete daily cash-outs.
· Maintain lobby, gift shop, bathrooms, and public areas; restock and sell retail merchandise.
· Monitor communication channels and relay necessary information.
· Record guest issues and resolutions using Monday.com; escalate concerns when necessary.
· Assist with restaurant support when needed.
· Make and modify reservations for accommodations, moorage, camping, fishing, and rentals; manage deposits and CRM entries.
· Uphold brand standards, confidentiality policies, and safety procedures.
Qualifications
Required
· Legally entitled to work in Canada
· Strong hospitality skills with a clear understanding of the guest experience and an ability to address guest requests and concerns in a professional and hospitable manne
· Excellent verbal communication
· Strong administrative and organizational skills
· Computer literacy with a strong command of Microsoft Office suite
· WHMIS Certification
Preferred
· Experience working in Guest Services or Front Desk.
· OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
· Serving it Right
· Valid driver’s license
· Familiarity with property management and POS software
