WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Business Intelligence Analyst is a newly created role reporting to the Director, Finance & Analytics and is focused primarily on the commercial operations of the business. You will develop and maintain accurate and insightful reporting to support business monitoring and decision-making across the organization. Your efforts will keep managers and senior leaders informed on business performance as we execute our plans and look to the future.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage existing Power BI and Excel reports, providing visibility to a large group of internal customers on critical areas related to the commercial operations of the business.
- Independently develop new reports, dashboards or scorecards according to business needs.
- Streamline data and data processes where possible, ensuring data accuracy at all times.
- Work collaboratively to determine the right approach for presenting data to enable various cross-functional teams to action against KPI’s.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data processes and reporting methodologies.
- Provide training and support to stakeholders on data tools and reports.
- Other special projects and ad hoc reporting as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience working in an analytical role (Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience an asset).
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and the Power BI Service, including but not limited to transformation and modeling of data from multiple sources, DAX, report design, and performance optimization (iykyk!).
- Microsoft skills: Excel (advanced); PowerPoint (intermediate); experience using other apps such as SharePoint and/or Power Automate would be assets.

OTHER INFORMATION
- This role can be remote or on-site in Invermere, BC. If remote there will be travel to our headquarters around 3-4 times per year.
- This is a full-time, permanent position, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, schedule flexible as long as you are covering key collaboration hours of 9am-3pm MT.
- You are legally entitled to work in Canada.
